U.S. TRADERS

How to trade if you are U.S. citizen?

If you are a U.S. resident or simply has a u.s. passoport you need to know these basic things about trading binary options before you start.

What options do you have?

Nadex and Cantor Exchange are the only 100% CFTC regulated platforms. However, today we start seeing other brokers such as CTOptions and Finpari, regulating themselves further in line with the CFTC Rules. Other Binary Options Brokers such as Cherry Trade, are also allowed to take on a percentage of U.S Traders. Nadex offers completely free demo account you can get access to, and there is also a lot of useful information.

Do I have to pay taxes?

Yes of course. Depending on state you live in you are obliged to pay taxes accordingly.

The US tax law known as the Foreign Assets Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) empowers the Inland Revenue Service (IRS) to tax all assets of citizens of the United States at home and abroad. This includes investments and proceeds of trading activities in brokerage accounts held outside the shores of the United States.
